Who we are
How we support
We are dedicated to empowering veterans, service members, and military spouses through education, professional training, mentorship, entrepreneurship, career development, and community support. Through partnerships, fundraising initiatives, professional networks, and military organizations, we connect our community with resources and opportunities that support successful civilian careers.
Our roots began in the beauty industry. Today, Veterans Professional Alliance has expanded its mission to support veterans across a wide range of professions and industries.
Our nationwide community is focused on creating opportunities, expanding professional networks, developing new skills, and supporting veterans throughout their transition and beyond. Our mission is simple: empower those who served to build meaningful careers, stronger futures, and lasting success.
What we do

We help the military community turn experience, skills and ambition into meaningful opportunity after service.

Education & Career
Training, certifications, educational programs and mentors across a growing range of fields, from our roots in permanent makeup, micropigmentation and paramedical tattooing to business, technology and skilled trades.

Mentorship & Networking
Veterans, business owners, executives and community leaders connected through events, workshops and mentorship. Sometimes the right introduction changes everything.

Career & Entrepreneurship
Support for career development, business building, government and private-sector opportunities, and resources for transitioning service members.
Bottom line
About 200,000 service members transition to civilian life each year, according to the DOD. Some veterans may struggle to find civilian employment. A veteran may not know how his or her military training could apply to a civilian job. Federal law requires DOD and the Coast Guard to establish centers to provide help, but rarely can you see any programs that involve the beauty industry. This is where we come in.
